Associate members are the national neurological societies of Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia and Syria. Associate members do not pay membership fee. One delegate per society is invited as an observer to the annual meeting of the EFNS Council. Members of associate member societies may attend the annual EFNS Congress at the reduced fee for students and residents. They may also benefit from and participate in certain other EFNS activities, such as the EFNS Department-Department Programme and the EFNS Academy for young neurologists. The extent and details of participation and benefits is subject to revision by the management committee. A joint special session will be organised mutually, i.e. one at the annual EFNS congress, and one at the bi-annual Pan-Arab Congress.
