EFNS Congresses are organised annually, except in years when the World Congress of Neurology takes place in Europe. EFNS Congresses are held in European cities located in the countries of EFNS member societies.
Each EFNS members society may send bids for hosting the congress. The future cities are decided by the Council of Delegates at its annual meeting.
