The UEMS Section of Neurology - European Board of Neurology represents neurology at the European Union of Medical Specialists level. The activities of UEMS-EBN are directed towards all professional aspects of neurology in Europe and in the individual member countries. Representation and involvement of neurology in the national health structures are important aspects as well as education at all levels. As parts of a quality circle to improve and boost the neurological training and education in Europe UEMS-EBN holds the European Board Examination in Neurology and is also offering a visitation program for neurological training units.
European Board Examination in Neurology
UEMS-EBN successfully held the first European Board Examination in Neurology in 2009 and conferred the title “Fellow of the European Board of Neurology” to six candidates. The next examination will be held in conjunction with the 14th EFNS congress on September 24, 2010 in Geneva – Switzerland.
