European Federation of Autonomic Nervous System Societies

The European Federation of Autonomic Societies (EFAS) is an umbrella society of European national autonomic societies, involved in the scientific investigation of disorders of the autonomic nervous system (ANS). The aim of EFAS is to increase the awareness for autonomic disorders and to enhance the communication and cooperation between scientists from different fields of ANS research all over Europe.

EFAS members are neurologists, cardiologists, diabetologists, urologists, pharmacologists, physiologists, and others. All of them are invited to participate in the annual EFAS congress, organised by one of the national autonomic societies or in cooporation with other societies (EFNS; ISAN, AAS), to present their latest results and share their experiences, particularly with young investigators.
